Overview
St. Luke's Children's Hospital is seeking a BC/BE pediatric infectious disease specialist to join our phenomenal team of 2 experienced physicians in Boise, Idaho. This position is primarily focused on inpatient pediatric infectious disease consultation service, with occasional need for outpatient clinic coverage, all on the Boise campus. Our team manages the full spectrum of bread and butter inpatient and outpatient pediatric ID diagnoses, as well as solid organ transplant, oncology and bone marrow transplant patients. The Children's Infections and Immune Deficiency Clinic provides long term care for children with HIV/AIDS, and for those with primary immunodeficiency disorders, in addition to acute infectious disease management and hospital follow-up care.
This position is a part-time hospital-based consult service role with daytime rounding and light night call by phone. Enjoy time off in between call weeks or work with St. Luke's in a combined role within another area such as pediatric hospitalist, general pediatrics, adult infectious disease, or other specialties if a full-time position is desired.
