Christian Hospital with BJC has an opening for an experienced PRN Medical Laboratory Technician (MTL III).  In this role, you will perform specimen processing and routine and complex testing on blood and other specimens which requires a knowledge and understanding of quality control, basic instrument maintenance, and procedure methodologies and reference ranges. Laboratory performs testing including chemistry testing, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, microbiology, and toxicology screens.

Role Purpose

Performs specimen processing and routine / complex testing on blood and other specimens which requires a knowledge and understanding of quality control, basic instrument maintenance, and procedure methodologies and reference ranges. Maintains appropriate documentation of all activities as required. Demonstrates good laboratory practice May also coordinate the activities of the lab.
