St. Louis Children's Hospital is seeking a PRN Child Life Specialist at our main campus.
This position has no set hours, and is going to be filling in holes within all units as needed.
If you are looking for a flexible work life balance, PRN is a great fit because you will be picking up shifts on an as needed basis and you are only required to work 80 hours per quarter.

Role Purpose
To provide the scope of child life services to children and families who are receiving services from St. Louis Children's Hospital.
Responsibilities
Collaborates with health care professionals and hospital staff to provide optimal family centered care.
Provides child life services to patients and families as assessed and prioritized including psycho-social preparation for hospitalization, procedures, surgeries, and/or other potentially stressful events.
Actively contributes to the efficient operation of the Child Life Department, planning activities, special projects, meetings and outcome measures.
Increases awareness of child life services throughout the hospital by providing information about the services, role modeling, medical record documentation and in-service education.
