RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Faculty Attending Physician for the Rutgers Health Internal Medicine Residency Program at Community Medical Center in Toms River, New Jersey RWJBarnabas Health is currently seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and innovative faculty member for the Rutgers Health Internal Medicine Residency Program at Community Medical Center in beautiful Toms River, New Jersey. We welcome candidates with a broad knowledge base, desire for medical education, and a commitment to teaching, team work and collaboration. This is a hybrid position that will offer enormous possibilities for developing and enhancing clinical, teaching, and administrative skills, leadership ability, and personal growth.
Community Medical Center, located in Toms River, New Jersey, is a fully accredited acute care hospital serving the entire northern Ocean County area. The hospital is located just 20 minutes from major Jersey Shore resort areas, and is an ideal location to practice high quality medicine in a relaxing and desirable area. Additionally, we invite candidates interested in outpatient opportunities for both Per-Diem and Part-Time primary care physician services.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality medical care for patients assigned from inpatient services
Teaching opportunity with the expectation to supervise residency program
Opportunity to be the Core Faculty Member with opportunity for Research and supervising/mentoring residents in this capacity
Team includes 6 full-time faculty

*Please note that current trainees can earn up to $24,000 with the residency stipend program if they choose to join RWJBH during the final year of residency!
Applicants must be NJ licensed or eligible for licensure in NJ, and BC/BE in Internal Medicine with a strong enthusiasm for teaching. We are open to both experienced physicians and recent graduates.
