Providence Mother and Baby Clinics is seeking a part-time Lactation Consultant who is either a Family Nurse Practitioner (strongly preferred) or Certified Nurse Midwife to join a well-establish practice located on the campus of Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. In this role you will support recently delivered mother/baby couplets during the postpartum period in a lactation focused outpatient practice. You will work closely with pediatricians and OB/GYN providers to provide post discharge follow up of both mother and infant with ongoing lactation support for families who elect to breastfeed. Position requires every 3rd weekend coverage, one winter and one summer holiday. Join us in providing the highest quality, compassionate care to patients in a welcoming community.
Part-time, 0.6 FTE at 3-days per week
Every 3rd weekend (2-weekends off/1-weekend on)
No call required, no after-hours beyond 6:00pm
Open to new graduate Family Nurse Practitioner (strongly preferred) or Certified Nurse Midwifes with previous postpartum, or pediatric RN experience
FNP or CNM License, DEA licensure, PEARS certification
IBCLC certification to be obtained within 12-months of hire with financial assistance from Providence
