We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Pediatric CVICU Team at Indiana University Heath, Riley Children's Health! This is a wonderful opportunity to work with a nationally ranked program while caring for pediatric patients with congenital heart disease.
Position Details:
Full-Time, Rotating Shifts
3x13 hour shifts per week
Rotating days, nights, weekends
No Call
Patient population: pediatrics with congenital heart disease, some adult patients may be included
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical -
Daily rounding and management of pre and post-surgical patients in the Pediatric CVICU
Handle outside phone calls and discharge coordination
Daily progress notes and assisting in the overall plan of care
Bedside procedures to include: chest tube management/removal, mediastinal tube management/removal, pacing wire removals, central line management and intracardiac line management.
Qualifications:
Master's Degree required
FNP, PNP, or PA certification required
Experience preferred in pediatric CVICU, critical care or general cardiovascular disease management
