Position Summary
This position must have leadership and pediatric experience.
This position provides operational leadership and directs supervision of staff to ensure consistent provision of developmentally appropriate quality patient care in accordance with all applicable federal, regulatory, and professional standards and requirements. Acts as a liaison with other departments to facilitate quick resolution of issues to ensure excellence in a family centered care environment.
Education
- Successful completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapist Program. (Required)
- Health care related bachelors degree. (Preferred)
Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical respiratory care experience in a hospital environment with one (1) year in a leadership position. (Required)
Certifications
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. (Required)
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist credential (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). (Required)
- Current State of Arizona Respiratory Care Practitioner license. (Required)
- American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) membership. (Preferred)
- Current PALS certification. (Preferred)
- Current Neonatal/Pediatric Specialty credential (NPS) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). (Preferred)
