Clinical Laboratory Scientists – Medical Technologists

BayCare, a leading Florida community-based health care system, has outstanding career opportunities available for full-time, part-time and PRN Clinical Laboratory Scientists – Medical Technologists throughout our network of 15 not-for-profit hospitals across the Tampa Bay and Central Florida areas, including, but not limited to, Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater and Winter Haven, Florida. We also have positions available with the Esoteric Lab.

The Clinical Laboratory Scientist is responsible to perform all diagnostic testing and quality controls, prepare reagents, report results according to established policies and procedures, review and oversee moderate to high complexity testing, monitor and maintain computer applications, maintain equipment and supplies and perform other duties as assigned. Must meet CLIA Laboratory High Complexity Testing criteria. Must have Florida Medical Technologist and Clinical Laboratory Scientist licenses.
