Schedule/ Shift:
There are multiple shift opportunities available, allowing you to find what fits best with your preferences!
The following options are currently available:
- Nights (32 hours/ week); Monday through Thursday; 3p - 11:30pm, call time needed on weekends
- Days/Weekends (40 hours/week): 4-10's Friday through Monday. Comprised of Friday and Monday; 8 am-6:30 PM and Saturday and Sunday; 6 am-4:30 PM
- Weekend Only (20); Saturday and Sunday; 6 am-4:30 PM

The role you’ll contribute:
Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department. Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs. Follows standards of safe radiation practice. Demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists. Acts as a clinical resource to students, staff technologist and other hospital personnel. Assures current standards of practice for the unit.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Performs diagnostic radiology procedures, providing safety for self, patients and all other individuals. Practices all rules and regulations pertaining to radiation safety, reducing personal and patient exposure to “as low as reasonably achievable” (ALARA).
- Produces quality images in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
- Prepares patient for exam. Provides information and instruction to patient and/or family regarding the procedure and responds to their physical and emotional needs.
- Assists the patient during exam and positions the patient.
Required Qualifications (the expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Registered Technologist, Radiology - R.T. (R) (ARRT)
- Current Basic Life Support from American Heart Association
- Knowledgeable in all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging to include Surgery and Trauma as required Previous Radiologic Technologist experience preferred One year post certification experience required to evaluate and/or instruct student radiographers
- Bone Density certification preferred within 6 months of hire
- Specific to the Weekend Tech Option- One year post certification experience required to evaluate and/or instruct student radiographers.
