We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Orthopedic Team at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN! 

Position Details:

• Full-time, Day shift 
• Elbow, Shoulder and Sports Medicine 
• No call
• 40% inpatient and 60% outpatient 
• Patient census of approximately 30/wk in hospital and 15/wk in office 

Key Responsibilities:

• New consults
• Surgical first assist in the OR 
• Joint Aspirations and Injections 
• Pre-op assessment and patient consent before surgery 
• inpatient rounding and discharges
• Evaluations of new and return patients in clinic
• Procedural requirements: Aspirations, Joint Injections, Application of splits and casts 

Qualifications:

• ACNP, AGNP, FNP, or PA certification required
• Candidate must be motivated, proactive and a hard worker 
• Candidate must have the skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
• APP experienced required 
  • APP experience in surgical specialty, ED, ICU or Urgent Care or 1 surgical rotation with orthopedics during NP or PA clinical
