We have an excellent leadership opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team as one of our Advanced Practitioner Leads (APL) with ChristianaCare-GoHealth Urgent Care.

As the Urgent Care Advanced Practitioner Lead (PA/NP), you will divide your responsibilities between Clinical Care (75%) and Administrative (25%).

Clinical: Provide a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions. Functioning in lieu of or alongside of a physician. It is essential for an urgent care Advanced Practitioner to have excellent assessment skills in order to recognize more serious conditions and direct the patient to the emergency room for advanced care when necessary.

Administrative: Perform a wide variety of administrative tasks including APP leader on the clinical leadership team, EMR training and efficacy, procedure/skills training, customer experience training, daily clinic staffing/scheduling, and implementation of special projects and initiatives. In-clinic mentoring, real-time observation and direct feedback to APP's will be expected. Lead APP, along with clinical leadership team, will assist with schedule management, chart review, patient quality/satisfaction initiatives, cover assigned Medical Director and Associate Medical Director duties during sick-leave or PTO, and any other administrative duties at the discretion of the Medical Director. Lead APP will be an active member of clinical leadership meetings and collaboratively disseminate best practices to all providers and staff. Qualified applicants should have the ability to listen, gather information, validate data, communicate effectively, and have strong customer satisfaction skills.

Daily Volume Bonus paid monthly based on patient visit metrics met per shift (to reward those who work at the busier centers) for your clinical shifts.
Administrative Annual Bonus of up to 10% aligned with metrics for your administrative role.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's degree in administration preferred (e.g. MBA, MHA) or minimum of 7 years clinical experience
Eligible to be Licensed in the state(s) of Delaware/Maryland as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) required
5 years of experience in an Emergency Department/urgent care setting required
Adult and pediatric practice experience required
Prior administrative or leadership responsibilities preferred
