Optum Health Care Decision Support is 24/7 inbound call center. We have full-time positions, 8 hour shifts available, 10 hour shifts available, and schedules will vary to cover 9am - 12am. All schedules include a minimum of 1 weekend day per week. Holidays are required on a rotating basis.
Training is mandatory and regardless of assigned schedule, will take place Monday - Friday for 6 weeks from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm CST.

Primary Responsibilities:
We are an inbound call center open 24/7 including holidays
Assesses and triages immediate health concerns
Identifies problems or gaps in care offering opportunity for intervention
Coordinates services and referrals to health programs
Provides health education and coaches consumers on treatment alternatives to assist them in best decision making
Supports consumers in selection of best physician and facility to maximize access, quality, and to manage heath care cost
Prepares individuals for physician visits
Manages utilization through education
Special projects, initiatives, and other job duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
RN Compact State Licensure
Ability to obtain additional state licensure as needed
3+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse (any clinical setting)
Proficient level of experience with Microsoft Office applications, and solid technical aptitude
Ability to work rotating holidays as needed and a minimum of 1 weekend day per week
Ability to work Monday-Friday during daytime hours of 8:00 am - 4:30 pm CST for the first 6 weeks for training
Designated work space and access to install secure high speed internet via cable/DSL in home
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with the geriatric population
Triage experience
Case management experience
Customer service experience
Experience in a telephonic role
ICU, ER, Med/Surg, Home Health or Long-Term Care experience
Experience with Medicare/Medicaid population
Travel and Labor/Delivery/Pediatrics
Proven highly organized, self-directed worker with an ability to function in high volume environment
Proven solid verbal and written communication skills
