Overnight Hospitalist Opportunity in St. Louis, MO!

Mercy Hospital St. Louis and Mercy Hospital South are currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Hospital Care at Home program in St. Louis, MO to provide overnight coverage. As part of Mercy?s mission to transform the care experience, last year we launched the Hospital Care at Home (HCaH) program, in partnership with Maribel Health.

About the Hospital Care at Home program:

Patients who have presented to the Emergency Department and have acute care needs that require hospitalization are thoroughly screened for admittance to the HCaH Program. Once "admitted", these patients are transported home to receive all the acute care services during the typical 3-5-day admission. This includes twice daily nursing visits, medical direction oversight, medication management, equipment, and all additional program support

This Opportunity Offers:

• Full-time position, 7on / 7off schedule 
• Night shift schedule (7p-7a)
• Providing overnight coverage for HCAH 
• Overnight monitoring and in-home visits to avoid escalations
• Triaging/managing patient calls
• Symptom management and support for ongoing operations
• Supporting and identifying new patient admissions 
• Overseeing night staff as applicable
• System-wide Epic EMR
