Responsible for a continuum of services providing care to patients with neurological, swallowing, speech language, cognitive, pragmatic, voice and other cognitive related disorders requiring intervention by a Speech-Language Pathologist through an interdisciplinary approach. Utilizes rehab process to promote and restore optimal health to well-being of the patient. Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values
Qualifications:
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
Masters (required)
One year as Speech-Language Pathologist (Preferred: Home Care or Long Term Care experience).
Membership in Colorado Speech-Language Hearing Association (CSHA).
Certificate of Clinical Competence for Speech-Language Pathology Required
American Speech Language Hearing Association Required Membership in American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
Current Colorado drivers license
Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association required for facilities with an AED Preferred CPR/AED - Automated External Defibrillator (AED) preferred for facilities without an AED.
Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly
This role will cover our home health PRN needs Monday through Friday (as available). The shifts are 8:00am to 5:00pm (no weekends or holidays). We need at least 1 year of experience to be considered for this PRN role.
