Position Highlights
Veteran-Centered Care: Provide comprehensive primary care to a panel of adult Veterans, delivering personalized care in a supportive and team-based environment.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Partner with an integrated team of professionals, including nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, and pharmacists.
Advanced Tools: Leverage state-of-the-art resources and the VA’s integrated electronic medical records system (CPRS).
Quality of Life: Focus on quality over volume with ample time to build relationships with your patients.
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive Salary: $225,000 - $300,000, based on education, experience, and market factors.
Generous Benefits Package: Includes health, dental, vision, life insurance, and a robust federal retirement plan.
Paid Time Off: 26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, and 11 federal holidays.
Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP): Eligible for tax-free student loan repayment of up to $200,000 (subject to program approval).
CME Support: Annual stipend and paid time off for continuing medical education.

Requirements
Licensure: Unrestricted medical license from any U.S. state or territory.
Board Certification/Eligibility: Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
Citizenship: U.S. citizenship (non-citizens may be considered in certain circumstances).
Language Proficiency: Proficiency in spoken and written English.

The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) is the largest integrated health care system in the United States, providing care at 1,321 health care facilities, including 172 VA Medical Centers and 1,138 outpatient sites of care of varying complexity (VHA outpatient clinics) to over 9 million Veterans enrolled in the VA health care program. VHA Medical Centers provide a wide range of services including traditional hospital-based services such as surgery, critical care, mental health, orthopedics, pharmacy, radiology and physical therapy. In addition, most of our medical centers offer additional medical and surgical specialty services including audiology & speech pathology, dermatology, dental, geriatrics, neurology, oncology, podiatry, prosthetics, urology, and vision care. Some medical centers also offer advanced services such as organ transplants and plastic surgery.
