As a per diem, hybrid Oncology Outpatient Pharmacist at the Cedars-Sinai Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute in Los Angeles, California, you will be providing comprehensive direct patient care to leukemia, lymphoma, and other cancer patients. You will assist with management of adult patients receiving care in our outpatient cancer centers receiving oral and infusion oncolytics. Patient care activities include: patient education, therapeutic drug monitoring; approved pharmacy managed protocols; review of chemotherapy orders; supervision of sterile compounding activities and provision of drug information and optimizing drug therapy. You will also be involved in the review of research protocols and oversight of research medications.

Educational Requirements:

• Pharm.D. or equivalent degree from an accredited school of pharmacy in the USA.
• Completion of a PGY1 and/or PGY2 residency or equivalent practice experience.

License/Certification/Registration Requirements:

• Current pharmacist licensure in the State of California.
• BLS certification as outlined in the Pharmacist Responsibilities in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (C.P.R.) and Code Blue Procedure: Pharmacy Policy and Procedure

  • Possess computer skills necessary to perform job functions.
