Long-Term Acute Care Hospitalist

Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution located in downtown Chicago, invites applications for the position of Hospitalist for their Long-Term Acute Care Hospital—RUSH Specialty Hospital. The new 100-bed facility will be a combined critical illness recovery and inpatient rehabilitation hospital on the Rush University Medical Center campus. The RUSH Specialty Hospital will be outfitted with the latest technology and will feature 44 critical illness recovery and 56 inpatient rehabilitation beds.
The Division of Hospital Medicine is comprised of over 70 faculty members focused on clinical excellence, education, quality improvement, patient safety and clinical research. The Division sees over 85,000 patients a year with treatment teams consisting of residents, medical students and Advanced Practice Providers. The position provides a competitive market base salary as well as teaching, administrative and leadership opportunities.
