Job Description
Under the direct supervision of a registered nurse, participates in the nursing process in delivering care to patients and their families. Duties and responsibilities include direct care activities required in daily practice on the assigned unit. Fulfillment of the job duties requires the employee to have access to medication storage areas and transport medications to/from medication storage and delivery areas.
Assists the registered nurse assigned to the patient with the assessment of the patient, planning of nursing care and performing nursing care activities

Qualifications
1. High school diploma or equivalent required
2. Currently enrolled in good academic standing in an accredited pre-licensure MSN, BSN or ADN program.
3. Passing grade ("C" or better) in Fundamentals/Foundations of nursing (transcript required)
4. Current BLS card required
5. Previous experience preferred
