The role you’ll contribute:
Prepares and organizes pharmacy medications by name and dosage, as listed on patient orders.
The value you’ll bring to the team
- Actively performs all pharmacist functions and maintains active proficiency in standard work parameters, operational programs, dispensing and compounding systems, hospital computer systems, and medication ordering systems
- Accurately oversees the management of medication inventories and the preparation and dispensing of patientspecific medication doses
- Completes critical medication order scrutiny, drug profile review, and patient monitoring to identify, prevent, or mitigate medication-related problems
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- One year of hospital pharmacy experience
- Bachelor of Pharmacy, Doctor of Pharmacy, or other advanced pharmacy degree
- Applicable State Pharmacy License
