Schedule:
Full-time (40); 4–10-hour shifts per week, Monday - Friday
Call time. Typically, 14 call shifts, including two full weekends, per 6-week schedule.

The role you’ll contribute:
Provide quality patient care to all patients within the Cardiac Cath/EP department. Demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associates. Acts as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assures current standards of practice for the unit. Provides leadership and support to the staff acting as a direct supervisor and reference. Primarily responsible for the day to day operation of the lab including scheduling of both staff and patients, supply levels and availability, equipment and procedural room usage, and other tasks pertaining to operations as develop.

Ability to provide on-call coverage outside of standard scheduled hours per department and/or facility policy.
Provides leadership, support and coordination to staff. • Participates in the interviewing and selection process.
Responsible for orienting, or providing appropriate preceptors for training and mentoring staff .
Assists in directing, organizing and prioritizing all shift activities ensuring patient care and staff needs are met.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
2 years directly in Cath/Ep lab with competencies in scrub and monitoring roles for Cardiac Cath and device implant.
Previous experience procuring supplies and managing consignment levels.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the AHA (American Heart Association)
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) upon hire or within 6 Months of Hire
Colorado Surgical Assistant License or Surgical Technologist Certification upon hire unless performing Surgical Assistant duties within the scope of another active Colorado license, certification, or registration (required for Colorado employed staff only)
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), or Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) with post primary certification of Cardiac-Interventional Radiography through The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
