Job Summary:
The Communication Center Specialist conducts regular communication through phone, email, and text messages for lead and applicant cultivation. The Communication Center Specialist accurately documents all interactions with leads and applicants to keep communication history current. The Communication Center Specialist communicates regularly with the Communication Center Manager to ensure lead and applicant communication, and turnaround time goals are met. The Communication Center Specialist is assigned to upholding policy and procedure set by the Admissions Department, University, and its committees. The Communication Center Specialist actively exemplifies outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
You Will Be Responsible For:
Demonstrates behaviors at AdventHealth University in harmony with our mission: Nurture, Excellence, Spirituality, and Stewardship
Communicate with leads and applicants through phone, email, and text messages
Ensure all forms of communication reflect a professional, friendly tone
Provide accurate and timely information to leads and applicants
Maintain a working knowledge of admissions requirements for all programs utilizing published criteria in the Academic Catalog
Document all communication touchpoints with leads and applicants within the CRM
Ensure that all work meets the standards for accuracy and timeliness established by the Communication Center Manager
Employ customer recovery strategies as needed, in conjunction with the Communication Center Manager
Identify and anticipate issues of efficiency and accuracy in the areas for which they are responsible, and develop possible solutions
Collaborate with the Communication Center Manager to ensure a smooth lead-to-student journey
Qualifications
What Will You Need:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
High School Diploma/G.E.D.
1 or more years of customer service experience
EDUCATION PREFERRED:
Associate degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Hospitality, or other related field.
Three or more years of customer service experience
Salesforce CRM knowledge experience
