The Physician Assistant assists, monitors, and manages the day-to-day needs of patients as requested by, in conjunction with, and under the supervision of a physician. The successful candidate will perform the duties and responsibilities of a Physician Assistant according to customary and generally accepted medical standards.
Shift needed: 8pm-6am 4 days per week.
- The PA will be covering ICU/SDU.
- No OR coverage.
- Manage ICU and step down area and assist with any admissions overnight.
- The PA will collaborate with the on-call ICU intensivist.
1. Successful completion of an approved physician's assistant program, accredited by the AMA Council on Medical Education.
2. Physician Assistant License.
3. Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification required
4. Previous Acute Care-ICU experience required.
