Summary: The Clerical Office Assistant is responsible for effectively performing administrative and/or project-related duties supporting daily operations. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and ICARE values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.
Other information: Required Job Qualifications: •High school graduate or GED. •Experience in an administrative role. •Excellent verbal and written communication. •Excellent organization and prioritization skills. •Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook. •Able to interact effectively with internal and external customers. •Ability to work independently. •Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and set priorities.
Preferred Job Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree. •Experience in an administrative role in healthcare or education.
Responsibilities: 1. Creates, maintains, retrieves, and files. 2. Responsible for prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and managing a variety projects as applicable. 3. Professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills are required. 4. Prepare and distribute reports. 5. Faxing and photocopying, and scanning documents. Filing and distributing documents. 6. Delivers and retrieves mail/documents/packages as necessary throughout the medical center. 7. Utilize basic functions of Microsoft Office to deliver tasks (Word and Outlook). 8.
