Role Purpose
Manage children behaviors, organize and maintain data and equipment for programs/projects, educate parents/patients for the audiology and cochlear implant programs.
Responsibilities
Manage patient behaviors for Conditioned Play Audiometry and Visual Reinforcement Audiometry while in- servicing parents/patients on care and maintenance on devises
Trouble shoot audiologic equipment--arrange for repair/replacement as necessary while maintaining inventory of supplies for clinical areas (booths, dispensary)
Oversee/Document toy cleaning and infection control TO ensure that all equipment and instruments are cleaned and kept in good repair.
Responsible for all maintenance, inventory and dispensing of hearing aids and cochlear implants.
Responsible for insurance authorizations and medical clearance from physicians for hearing aids and other devices.
