POSITION SUMMARY: Performs radiographic procedures as requested by physicians. Provides care for patients while obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation by a Radiologist.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from accredited Radiologic Technology Program required.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: ARRT and New Mexico State licenses required. Basic Life Support (BLS) issued through American Heart Association required, or must obtain within two weeks from date of hire or transfer.
SKILLS: Thorough knowledge of radiographic imaging equipment, anatomy and physiology, radiographic positioning, medical terminology and basic computer skills.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum one year experience required which can be substituted with clinical education experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Prolonged, extensive or considerate standing and walking. Lifts, positions, pushes and or transfers patients and equipment in excess of 50 lbs.
