WakeMed is currently seeking (2) board-certified/board-eligible pediatric Neurologists to join WakeMed Children’s Pediatric Specialists group in Raleigh, NC. It is planned that with our expansion the team will consist of 2 pediatric neurologists, telehealth physicians as well as APP and Nurse support. We offer comprehensive neurological care for children including outpatient consultation and subspecialty follow-up. Additionally, we offer consultative care at WakeMed Children’s Hospital, a busy community hospital with a multitude of children’s services including emergency, inpatient, PICU, NICU, and rehabilitation care. 
The practice location is in east Raleigh, Apex, clinic hours are Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm. Inpatient call will be rotated to create a reasonable schedule. We have well-established relationships with multiple community pediatricians and multi-disciplinary pediatric and adult subspecialists. Clinical and teaching services are provided for both medical students and residents on clinical rotations.

The WakeMed Physician is responsible for providing quality clinical care to patients cared for by their division. The Physician may be responsible for providing teaching and supervision to residents, medical students and/or APPs within their division. The Physician is responsible for appropriate coding and corporate compliance and may be responsible for some general administrative responsibilities of the practice. Physician reports directly to the Director of their assigned division and understands and supports the mission values, and management of WakeMed Physician Practices and WakeMed.
