SummaryAPP sought to provide coverage in our 18 bed emergency department, which is a level 3 trauma center and sees approximately 16,000 visits per year. Work directly alongside the attending ED physician providing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for patients across the continuum of age and acuity. In addition, the ED APP coordinates care with consultant services, recommends follow up care and facilitates referrals to various internal and external facilities.
