TheKey Responsibilities for the Position are:
- Obtains patient historyand performs assessment via observation, interview, and examination. Orders,performs and interprets diagnostic procedures.
- Provides directtreatment and management of health conditions via prescriptive authority orreferral to other healthcare providers or community resources.
- Provides counseling andeducation of patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health,treatment options and community resources.
- Performs preventativehealth assessments, screening, immunizations and care.
- Within scope of job,requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to workwith minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment andtake appropriate action.
- DOT Certification isrequired for this position
- Level I Certification isrequired for this position.

Requirements for PhysicianAssistants
- Master's degree inphysician assistant studies
- Unrestricted licenseto practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Colorado.
- Physician AssistantCertification (PA-C) issued by the National Commission for Certification ofPhysician Assistants (NCCPA) is required for hire and must be maintained throughoutemployment
- Unrestricted DrugEnforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe all medications commonlyprescribed in the course of practice.
- Eligible to provideservices reimbursable services and maintain provider status with Medicare andMedicaid.
- Eligible to provideservices with no sanctions or exclusion from either the Health and HumanServices/Office of Inspectors General (HHS/OIG) or the General ServicesAdministration's (GSA) List of Parties Excluded from Federal Programs.
- Unrestricted medicalstaff membership, with appropriate practice privileges.
- Prescriptive authorityas appropriate, per medical staff service privileging process.
- Basic Life Support(BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or the AmericanRed Cross
Requirements for NursePractitioners
- Master's degree innursing and graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Nurse PractitionerCertification issued by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) orNurse Practitioner Certification issued by the American Academy of NursePractitioners Certification Board (AANPCB) is required for hire and must bemaintained throughout employment.
- Unrestricted NursePractitioner license issued by the State Board of Nursing in the state of practiceor compact privileges under the multi-state Nurse Licensure Compact agreement
- Unrestricted medicalstaff membership, with appropriate practice privileges

- The pay range for this full-timeposition is $100,588- $139,588 annually. Pay is dependent on relevantexperience. A productivity incentive may beoffered for this position.
