The NeuroHealth Institute at Baylor Scott & White Health is recruiting a Neurologist in south Austin.No inpatient or call is involved for outpatient positions.
Fellowship training and subspecialized interest in movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, cognitive and behavioral, neuromuscular, autonomic disorders, headache, epilepsy, neurocritical care, and stroke care is desired.
Position Highlights
The neurologist will provide general neurological care primarily in an outpatient setting, with a light mix of inpatient responsibilities. An EMG skillset is desired for the immediate opening.
Join as the first neurologist to work in this specialty clinic, alongside a team of primary care physicians and other specialists.
The work schedule is Monday-Friday and call is shared by a regional team of BSWH neurologists, by phone only during the evenings.
Acute strokes are covered by a tele-stroke team of vascular neurologists.
This is an employed position with a competitive salary, productivity bonus, moving allowance, a comprehensive benefits package, and no state income tax.

Qualifications:
Doctorate Degree in Medicine
Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
