SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible to coordinate the efficient air or ground transfer of patients to and from the Hershey Medical Center by establishing communications among all parties, monitoring movement of all assets (UEMS, CCT, and Helicopter) and coordinating with appropriate personnel for the most efficient outcome.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years related experience.
Must have experience with radio communication and be able to read maps and assign coordinates.
Excellent interpersonal communication, ability to use computers, ability to multi-task, and ability to handle stressful situations required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
EMT preferred.

Life Lion offers 24/7 emergency medical services (EMS) and 911 response to numerous municipalities throughout Dauphin, Cumberland, Perry, Lebanon, York, Lancaster, and Berks counties. The Life Lion team includes paramedics, emergency medical technicians, nurses, physicians, pilots, dispatchers, and mechanics who are highly trained to deliver lifesaving services ? including advanced and basic life support. Our team also prepares patients for the level of care they?ll need once they arrive at the hospital. Our Critical Care staff members are among the most highly trained clinicians in the nation.
