SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible for managing the functions and staffing required for timely and accurate scheduling pre-registration, designated pre-certification and designated authorization of all HVI clinical services and advanced radiology procedures across Penn State Health. Also responsible for ensuring the creation of and adherence to procedures compliant with all federal and state regulatory requirements, Joint Commission and payor requirements to support timely access to care for patients to HVI and advanced radiology services.  Participate in or complete billing authorization process to prevent unnecessary financial burden on upon the patient.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Bachelor's Degree 
• 3 years of job experience related to call center, patient scheduling or clinical services leadership required 
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
