SUMMER 2025 NURSE EXTERNSHIP (May 19 ? July 26, 2025) 

Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center is a 281-bed community hospital in Camp Hill, Pa., that offers a full range of diagnostic, medical, surgical, emergency and behavioral health services. SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) of Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center, contains 12 intensive care beds, and are private rooms. The CVICU is the designated intensive care unit for all adult critically ill, cardiothoracic- and cardiovascular-related medical and surgical patients. Patients may be recovered in the CVICU postoperatively. These patients include, but are not limited to, postoperative cardiac surgery, post coronary angioplasty, post-operative carotid endarterectomy, post thoracic surgical conditions (pulmonary embolectomy), post vascular surgical and intervention.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• Nursing student of an accredited Nursing Program and one clinical rotation, or a Graduate Nurse without Boards required.
