Under the direction of the System Director of Benefits and management of the Corporate Wellness Manager, this position will support the administration of CHRISTUS Health Associate wellness benefits.
Working in a team environment leading projects and collaborating with task owners within the benefits department, cross departmentally, and external stakeholders to support business needs aligned with System and departmental strategic objectives. The role includes but not limited to creating a culture of health (physical, mental, social, emotional, and financial wellbeing). This position also promotes wellness and benefits initiatives system-wide to create awareness and increase employee engagement.
Responsibilities:
Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
Maintains thorough knowledge of wellness program design along with the administration of all wellbeing benefits.
Assists with the re-evaluation of current processes and procedures applicable to the job function for opportunity of process improvement.
Cultivates healthy liaison relationships with HR departments, Associates, System departments, and external vendors to maintain connectivity within the function.
Leads wellness champion network to promote wellness resources and activities while looking for opportunities to expand and improve the infrastructure.
Leads regular meetings with the wellness champion network to ensure consistent engagement across the System.
Leads administration of the Clinician Support Program. Includes managing relationship with vendor, creating program communications, providing quarterly outcomes reporting to internal stakeholders and handling all participant inquiries.
Assists with the preparation and distribution of wellness benefit communications with internal and external Stakeholders.
Evaluates communication plans to ensure program resources and guidelines are delivered to Associates.
Assists with the facilitation of data transfer and reconciliation amongst vendors.
Researches and resolves wellness benefit case management inquiries from vendors, internal System departments and Associates.
Leads education and on-boarding presentations when and where appropriate.
Creates and implements health promotion challenges, wellness events, fitness programs and seminars.
Research relevant tools, resources, and external partnerships to support wellness programs and enhance participants' knowledge.
Ensures compliance with relevant laws, company policies, procedures regulations, and best practices related to all wellness related programs.
Ensures the System core values are demonstrated to enhance the customer experience.
Performs administrative duties such as reporting, incentive distribution, payroll deductions and other operational duties and assignments as directed.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey complex issues in laymen terms.
Must have strong presentation and conflict resolution skills.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Must have in depth knowledge of employee wellness program designs and operations.
Must have in depth knowledge of regulations surrounding wellness benefit programs.
Must have strong leadership abilities working in a team environment.
Must have working knowledge of HRIS systems, database capabilities, and input/output capabilities.
Must have success in working in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to easily adapt to changing priorities.
Job Requirements:
Education/Skills
Bachelor?s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience that provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work
Experience
Five (5) or more years of related experience in benefits or corporate wellness with emphasis on project management, administration, compliance, outcomes reporting and implementation
Demonstrated experience in facilitating benefit programs and communicating relevant information to managers, clients, customers, and other internal and external stakeholders
