Annual Salary Range: $244,980 - $293,700

At California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS), Chief Nurse Executives play a key role in the delivery of nursing services to the incarcerated patients in our care throughout California.
About the Position:
In this highly visible leadership position, you will be responsible for the administration of nursing programs for the statewide Whole Person Care Program, including:
The comprehensive management of nursing patient care in support of treatment initiatives for HCV, HIV, and Addiction Services for Substance Use Disorder
Providing overall leadership, direction, and monitoring of all nursing services within the Whole Person Care Program
Integrating chronic care management principles to identify and stratify at-risk populations, ensure illness prevention, and patient-centered treatment
Collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders at the state, county, and local levels
Developing and supporting community partnership networks to ensure an effective, comprehensive transition and community entry system for high risk patients
Traveling to correctional institutions throughout California, as necessary

Requirements:
California licensure as a registered nurse
Bachelors degree in nursing, health services administration, or related field (Master’s degree desirable)
5 yrs. clinical experience in a comprehensive medical setting
3 yrs. administrative or supervisory experience in a health care organization/facility with at least 20 subordinate nurses
Experience in program design, development, implementation, and evaluation is desirable
