We are seeking a Sample Handling Assistant to join our team in Madison, WI!
Job duties:
This position is a unique combination of sample management tasks, including labeling, receipt, transferring, tracking, inventory, archival, shipping, and disposal of frozen biological samples and/or materials.
Excellent keyboarding skills are required as this position will have a high degree of data input into tracking and archive database, may involve repeated lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Excellent customer service skills are required as this position interfaces with internal and external customers in retrieving and storage of samples all while maintaining strict business confidentially.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, position will document and communicate discrepancies and assist with problem solving.
Strong organizational skills are required as the position will maintain storage according to protocol.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Strong keyboarding skills
Experience using excel is preferred but not required.
Experience with international shipping is preferred but not required.
Strong customer service skills, strong attention to detail
