The Painter performs painting tasks throughout the facility as assigned.

Able to work alone, organize jobs, teach various skills to others.
Sufficient expertise in specialty area(s), i.e., surface preparation, painting, and wall coverings, to meet staffing needs of the hospital and minimize the need to utilize outside contractors.
Knowledgeable of material and work procedures used in surface preparation, painting, and wall covering applications.
Possess ability to read blueprints.
Required:
High School diploma.
LA City Fire Card within six (6) months of employment
Preferred:
1 -2 years painting experience in a hospital setting
