Responsibilities Intervenes as necessary to prevent physical harm to patients who might be high risk for injuring themselves or others. Ensures a safe environment, through monitoring the patient's emotional condition and collaborating with the healthcare team. Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, RN, LPN, you will play a vital role in the care of patients by performing basic nursing care and support tasks on assigned units. Provide patient care such as: ambulation, bathing, toileting, obtaining vital signs, all while maintaining a safe environment. Demonstrate effective communication skills to accurately convey patient information to RN, LPN and other members of the team in a timely manner. Demonstrate basic computer skills to accurately record vital patient information. Experience: Hospital experience- Required License/Certification/Education: BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant)-Required High School or Equivalent-Required
