Hours: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm

Days: Monday - Friday

In this role, you will:

• Accurately post all patient pay checks and credit card payments received via lockbox or credit card gateway to patient/client accounts.
• Accurately post all denials received with appropriate reason codes.
• Accurately post all agency payments to patient accounts.
• Advise Management of payment discrepancies.
• Daily reconciliation of payment posting batches, credit cards and lockbox patient payments.
• Ensures all documents are properly batched and sent to scanning.
• Meet daily QA and productivity goals as outlined by management.
• Able to meet month-end deadlines.
• Learning national remark codes and interpreting the correct application of these codes to remittance responses.

All you need is:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have ability to read and interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from insurance companies.
• Knowledge of Medical Insurance claim processing.
• Ten-key by touch a plus.

EXPERIENCE:

• A minimum of 1 to 2 years of payment processing experience in a health/medical billing and collection office.
