SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Life Lion Supervisor Flight Paramedic is responsible for assessing and implementing care for critically ill patients and serve as the senior expert in clinical decision making involving the treatment/transport of critically ill patients. The Supervisor Flight Paramedic is responsible for assisting with the management of daily operations associated with the Life Lion Critical Care Transport Team. The Supervisor Flight Paramedic will provide direct supervision over the Life Lion Critical Care Transport Paramedics.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Bachelor Degree in a health-related field with five (5) years of experience as a Critical Care Paramedic. Four (4) years of qualified management experience may be substituted for the degree requirement
FP-C certification
Previous supervisory or workflow coordination experience
Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic certification within the Commonwealth of PA or Pre-Hospital Health Professional credential
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
International Trauma Life Support or Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support Certification
EVOC
Valid PA state Driver?s license
NIMS 100, 200, 700, and 800

Life Lion offers 24/7 emergency medical services (EMS) and 911 response to numerous municipalities throughout Dauphin, Cumberland, Perry, Lebanon, York, Lancaster, and Berks counties. The Life Lion team includes paramedics, emergency medical technicians, nurses, physicians, pilots, dispatchers, and mechanics who are highly trained to deliver lifesaving services ? including advanced and basic life support. Our team also prepares patients for the level of care they?ll need once they arrive at the hospital. Our Critical Care staff members are among the most highly trained clinicians in the nation.
