The Duke Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences seeks a board-certified psychiatrist to direct the Residency Training Program in Psychiatry. The Duke Psychiatry Residency Program is a strong, well-functioning program with exceptional residents and faculty. Duke Psychiatry has five nationally recognized graduate psychiatry and psychology programs and an experienced team of associate program directors.
Excellent candidates for this faculty role have an innovative approach to medical education with at least three years of experience in an accredited teaching/residency program. Prior Graduate Medical Education leadership or other leadership experience is preferred.

This position reports to the Vice Chair for Education in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences. Candidates will have an MD or equivalent, be board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN), and eligible for a license as a physician in the state of North Carolina.
