Position Summary:

The Wellness Coach is responsible for the promotion and growth of the employee wellness program at Yuma Regional Medical Center; Assists employer with program development, implementation, workshops, challenges and data collection. Requires a highly-motivated individual that can has knowledge regarding biometric screenings, Health Assessments, health education and wellness coaching protocols.

Responsibilities:

1. Along with the Employee Health and Wellbeing Manager and Administrative Director of Total Rewards, responsible for creating annual wellness plan, implementation and setting of goals.
2. Creates presentations and facilitates classes/workshops/challenges/screenings based on identified top risk factors/results of engagement survey.
3. Develops marketing and promotional materials, writes articles, utilizes social media to maximize participation.
4. Compiles and analyzes data to identify trends to maximize the effectiveness of the wellness program.
5. Responsible for the administration of the wellness incentive program and submission of wellness awards for the organization.
6. Liaison for wellness partners as well as Wellness Ambassadors within the organization.
7. Develops and facilitates community Healthy Kids Program.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in health promotion/education, sports medicine, nutrition or closely related;
Preferred: Masters degree in health promotion/education, sports medicine, nutrition or closely related degree
Required Experience: 2 years of experience
