Physician Assistant (Urgent Care)
Summary The Urgent Care (UC) Physician Assistant (PA) is responsible for managing patients with urgent medical and psychological complaints in an Urgent Care setting. Management is achieved through assessment, planning, implementation, collaboration and evaluation to meet the needs of patients.
Duties Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Coordinate and supervise the delivery of outpatient care for Urgent Care patients including patient evaluation treatment including biopsies, order appropriate medications, schedule follow-up as needed, appropriate referrals as needed Serve as primary Urgent Care provider for an independent panel of clinic patients after an initial training
