OBHS Substance Pro-FeeThe following positions within Inpatient Adolescent Psychiatry, Inpatient Adult Psychiatry, Psychiatric Emergency Services, CARES, and Outpatient Behavioral Health Services are offering the opportunity to enroll in a new program offering a cash incentive to recognize your work treating patients with substance use disorders. This program is sponsored through the ACCESS (Advancing Careers, Competencies, and Equity in Substance Treatment Services) grant. Employees must be >0.6 FTE to be eligible. 50% of the bonus will be received 90 days after signing the program contract.
· Registered Nurses (RNs) may earn up to $7,500 by December 2024 · Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) may earn up to $3,500 by December 2024 · Care Navigators may earn up to $3,500 by December 2024Job Summary
Diagnose and provide nonsurgical treatment for a wide range of diseases and injuries of internal organ systems. Provide care mainly for adults and adolescents primarily in an outpatient setting.
Essential Functions:
Analyze records, reports, test results, or examination information to diagnose medical condition of patient. (10%)
Treat internal disorders, such as hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, or problems of the lung, brain, kidney, or gastrointestinal tract. (10%)
Prescribe or administer medication, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury. (10%)
Manage and treat common health problems, such as infections, influenza or pneumonia, as well as serious, chronic, and complex illnesses, in adolescents, adults, and the elderly. (10%)
Provide and manage long-term, comprehensive medical care, including diagnosis and nonsurgical treatment of diseases, for adult patients in an office or hospital. (10%)
Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients. (10%)
Advise patients and community members concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention. (10%)
Make diagnoses when different illnesses occur together or in situations where the diagnosis may be obscure. (10%)
Refer patient to medical specialist or other practitioner when necessary. (10%)
Collect medical history, monitor patients' conditions and progress, provide consulting services to other providers as needed, and advise other providers of patient's risk status. (10%)
