A meaningful educational experience for a college student to gain valuable experience in their field of study, while accomplishing tasks and completing projects in an enriching environment. The Intern will gain networking opportunities that include interactions with CHRISTUS leaders and Associates. The Intern will be provided with a variety of projects to support learning objectives in areas of business analytics, programming, robotic process automation, and to learn domain knowledge from health outcome, clinical operation, patient safety and quality.
Responsibilities:
Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
Develop models and dashboards to help stakeholders better understand key drivers of hospital performance initiatives and proactively come up with ideas to explore and uncover new findings and improve process efficiency.
Provides technical development expertise for designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and supporting all types of analytical products consistent with the established specifications and business requirements in order to deliver business value.
Participates in development of standards, design and implementation of proactive processes to collect and report data and statistics on assigned systems.
Communicate analytical findings and recommendations in a clear and concise way to non-technical audiences, both in verbal and written presentations.
Use Hypothesis-driven approach to drive design, implementation and analysis. Then provide executive level recommendations based on findings and directed next actions.
Automate recurring tasks and improve processes to continually increase efficiency.
Requirements:
Experience:
At lease 2 years of college preparation towards major.
Education:
Currently enrolled in a college degree program in one of the following degree programs; MS Computer Science, MS AI, MS Business Analytics, MS/BS information system.
PC and Microsoft Office Skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively work with others.
Quick learner with attention to detail, high degree of confidentiality and solid organizational skills.
Needs to be resourceful, innovative and persuasive with ability to problem solve and troubleshoot.
