Mid = $38.34
Max = $46.01

Summary:
The CT Technologist performs routine, emergent, cardiac, and interventional CT procedures adhering to department protocols on patients of all ages; practices safe radiation dosing for patients including image gently and insure all required QA is completed; maintains a clean and safe workplace.

Responsibilities:

• Performs routine and emergent CT examinations including obtaining and documenting pertinent patient history, explaining the procedures to the patient, answering the patient's questions, and gaining the patient's written consent.
• Performs cardiac and CT interventional procedures.
• Uses safe radiation practices according to ARRA regulations and licensing restrictions while using "common sense" approaches to everyday issues, such as reducing dose exposures to neonatal and adolescent patients.
• Maintains a clean and safe workplace.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirement:

• BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS)
• COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY (CT)
• COMPUTERIZED TOMOGRAPHY TECHNOLOGIST (CTCT)
• ASSOCIATE'S DEGREE or Graduate of qualifying Program (AMA, JCERT, etc.)
