The role you’ll contribute:
The Patient Experience and Leadership Development Supervisor works closely with the Regional Patient Experience and Leadership Development Manager at AdventHealth Wesley Chapel in deploying organizational strategies around patient experience. and leadership development. The supervisor will serve as a resource and coordinating link for coordinating activities, programs, and committees to enhance, promote and evaluate the patient experience at AdventHealth Wesley Chapel. The Patient Experience and Leadership Development Supervisor provides a range of services on the development and implementation of key strategies and training for creating and sustaining high performing teams with high employee engagement and low turnover. Effectively collaborates with leaders, physicians, staff and volunteers to provide training to improve the patient experience. The lead must present a friendly, positive, and professional image with strong credibility while encountering patients, visitors, staff, physicians, and volunteers. This position requires compassion, sensitivity and empathy toward patients and families. The Patient Experience and Leadership Development Supervisor will work with the Manager to assess organizational cultural/leadership needs to deploy various leadership and organizational development courses, tools, processes, and communication to enhance the overall culture.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
·Collaborates with leaders, nurses, physicians, and support staff to provide coaching and training in best practices for patients and family experience to improve patient experience. ·Deploy patient experience best practice skills labs/skills fairs/training for clinical staff in various clinical settings to include but not limited to inpatient, emergency department, and ambulatory departments. ·Collaborate with ancillary department leaders to provide patient experience consulting in best practices, improvement strategies and implementation. ·Provide shadowing/coaching in patient experience for nursing, physicians, and support staff. ·Provide accountability coaching with immediate feedback (strengths and opportunities) to staff and ongoing validation of best practice to include but not limited to nurse leader visits, hourly visits, and bedside shift report.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
·Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field within 6 months of hire ·Minimum of (5) years of RN experience required in a healthcare setting upon hire ·(3) years required in patient experience and leadership upon hire ·Current FL RN License upon hire ·Certified Patient Experience Certificate within 1 year of hire.
