Job Summary
Geisinger is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with 1-2 years of Advance Practice experience interested in Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine to provide comprehensive assessment and care delivery while demonstrating a high level of autonomy and expert skills in the diagnosis and management of patients.
Job Duties
At a Glance:
Practice 50% Pulmonary and 50% Sleep
Mostly outpatient clinic work at Geisinger Jersey Shore and Muncy but there could be periodic consults/visits in the hospital, at Jersey Shore Hospital.
Monday-Friday, typical clinic hours and no call
Participate in educational programs for patients with chronic lung disease
Employ complex education strategies and interventions to promote, maintain and improve health and prevent illness and injury
Collaborate with other health care professionals to identify and resolve patient care issues
