Business Analyst II - Market Analysis, Intelligence, and Strategy (MAIS)

Exciting Opportunity at MSK:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team at MSK to support the creation and development of new ventures and startups. In this role, you will deliver insightful, data-driven research to support strategic business initiatives and growth objectives. Position Overview

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis on startup company performance, industry trends, and market opportunities.

• Prepare detailed business analysis reports, including financial models, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations.

• Work closely with strategic leaders, scientific experts, and key stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.

• Develop and maintain business models and forecasts to evaluate current performance and predict future trends for MSK startups

• Present findings and strategic insights through written reports and presentations.

• Evaluate and analyze market positioning and competitive landscape for MSK startups

• Design and create engaging slide decks for fundraising initiatives, clearly articulating market potential to investors.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience working in or with startups, understanding their challenges, lifecycle stages, and growth strategies.

• Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and business analysis tools (e.g., MS Excel, Tableau, etc.).

• Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret data, market trends, and competitive landscapes.

• Capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.

Core Skills:

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.

• High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

• Experience with data visualization and business intelligence platforms a plus

• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Additional Information:

• This role is based at MSK's 633 Third Avenue location with flexibility to travel to other NYC locations for collaborative meetings as needed.

• Schedule: Hybrid onsite 2-3 days a week onsite

Pay Range: $100,600 - $161,000
