Overview

The Physical Therapist provides physical therapy services by evaluating patients, establishing and implementing effective treatment plans with functional treatment goals, providing patient education and therapeutic intervention/activity programs and educating in use of assistive devices. Position is responsible for observing, evaluating and documenting the results of treatment interventions and modifying age-appropriate treatment plan accordingly. The Option 2 Physical Therapist will work in all of the following settings of care: Acute Rehab Services (Raleigh/Cary), Rehab Hospital, Outpatient Rehab and other sites as assigned. Populations served include stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, other neurological issues, as well as post-surgical orthopedics, cardiac, multi-trauma and debility for both adult and pediatric populations. This position is in the Therapy Services Supplemental Pool and has minimum shift availability requirements per calendar year.
Licensure

Licensed Physical Therapist Required - And Maintain Vehicle Operator Insurability Preferred
Education

Bachelor's Degree Physical Therapy Required - And Master's Degree Physical Therapy Preferred
Experience

2 Years Clinical - Physical Therapy Preferred
