At our site in Harrogate, North Yorkshire we are looking for a Laboratory Scientist with experience to join our expanding immunology and immunotoxicology department.
Working as part of our growing Immunology and Immunotoxicology (I&I) department, you will undertake assay validation & analysis of pre-clinical and clinical samples for the Immunoassay, flow cytometry or cell based section. The work in this department supports multiplexed & high sensitivity biomarker analysis, immunogenicity assessment, pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic assessment of novel therapeutics.
Responsibilities will include:
Performing the maintenance on the equipment within the laboratory.
Sample analysis using a variety of analytical techniques such as ELISA utilizing MSD, Spectramax and Luminex Technologies as well as Flow cytometry, and Cell culture work.
Conducting analytical method (and equipment) validation and assist in analytical method development under the guidance of subject matter experts
Producing high quality data supporting documentation within allocated timelines
Organising and replenishing stock and general housekeeping tasks
Training tasks
Presenting findings to the team locally and globally alongside client interactions
Adherence to Good Laboratory Practice regulations.

What Labcorp need from you:
Willingness to learn
Relevant scientific Degree e.g. Immunology, biology, Biomedical science
Recent years of relevant experience working within industry or academia as a scientist with expertise in ligand binding, flow cytometry or cell based assays.
Experience working in a regulatory environment is advantageous.
Experience with technologies such as Luminex, MSD, ELISA, FACS Lyric, or cell culture is preferred.
